Future Of Convenience Store Chains
With significant government support and public investment, the convenience store industry has already established itself as a central concern of the retail market. Increased rivalry from dollar and discount stores built by major food and drugstore groups is one issue. Automobiles have been more gasoline, and Americans are gradually shifting to hybrid electric vehicles, which do not need as much if any, petroleum. C-stores should be locations where people want to buy, not merely a location to just go when there isn’t a better option, to be competitive in a dynamic retail landscape.
