Google said that community, bringing people together is at the core of their corporate culture and office spirit, so they are investing $ 7 billion in an existing office, as well as opening offices in Minnesota, Texas (the highest priority point for technological growth in recent years) and North Carolina. Also Google plans to double office expenses. This decision seems significant and even somewhat surprising against the backdrop of the triumphant march of the distance, which the companies became closely acquainted with in the "covid" 2020.

imageIn a pandemic year, Google, like everyone else, slowed down recruitment, but now is the time to pick up steam. The company said it will add thousands of new employees at existing sites in Atlanta, Washington, DC, Chicago and New York, expanding the company's multi-year expansion beyond Silicon Valley. According to Alphabet, there were over 135,000 Google employees worldwide as of last year.

Since the early wars between Netscape and IE, functionality has become the main tool in browser competition. But the strategy of unlimited growth and expansion is completely insane. For too long we have let it go on.

Using wget I downloaded all 1217 of the W3C specifications published to date1. A significant portion of these must be implemented in the browser for the modern web to work. I have calculated the scope of these specifications. How complex do you think the modern web is?

Back in the old days, when Google (or any of its poorly tuned AIs) wanted to kill your business, it usually denied you access to some of its services, and it worked. You've probably heard horror stories: Websites disappear from Google search and go into oblivion YouTube videos are demonetized , and creators lose a source of income Android applications disappear from Google Play and cannot contact their users APIs become more expensive or simply out of date Last but not least less important, personal analogue to all of the above: people lose access to their Gmail accounts and their entire digital lifeimage I swear I read the FAQ!

Let me just outline, that currently there are over 2 million apps in Google Play Store. That is quite a good deal of applications, isn’t it?

It sounds like great news for all smart gadgets users out there, but not as good for app developers.

Getting to ASO itself, which is basically app optimization for improving its’ ranking in App Store search results, the surprising thing is going on. A large amount of publishers still doesn’t invest in app store optimization.

But here is one thing - before people use apps for diverse purposes, they tend to search for these. Consequently, everybody wants the highest rankings in the Android App Store, because you get more app downloads. It can sound simple in theory, but in fact, takes a while trialing and fixing mistakes.

While nobody really knows the exact algorithm of Google ranking, there are a few well-tried tricks that work to lift your app up in Play Store. Google Play Store algorithm seems to be more complicated when comparing to the Apple App Store.

Corporation of Good, Google has made a lot of good deeds, so people loved it for this. Then Facebook came, which is popular very much. Perhaps jealousy or envy has changed something in the minds of the good magicians, and they began to look for a way to destroy Facebook. They even got a corporate term WWF (War with Facebook). In addition, there were assigned special commanding officers, responsible for this war with their general Vic Gundotra.

At that time the brothers Lars and Jens Rasmussen that are known for their start-up Google Maps, got a new idea: the communication service and collaboration (later - Google Wave). Google has decided to invest in this project, just because they saw in it a weapon against Facebook. As a result, Google entrusted to the malicious commanding officers oversee the development of the Rasmussen idea. In my opinion, namely this mismatch between the mission and the Wave idea led to the fatal errors in the project. Morality is banal: the envy and the jealousy go before a fall.

Rizzoma service continues to develop the concept of Google Wave. Naturally, they do not want to repeat the same mistakes, but it's important not to miss the best that was in the service. Therefore, they conducted a survey among users of GW out of 500 teams. Here are the results.

While developing the code analyzer PVS-Studio intended for searching issues in 64-bit and concurrent software, we came to the need of collecting fresh information on the Internet on some topics. For example, it is always useful to answer the questions of programmers who may be interested in our tool on various forums and blogs. While collecting the data we found out that there is much information on the Internet and therefore manual search might be very long and tiresome. Thus the task of automating the process of searching for fresh data appeared. In this post we will tell you how we do this.
But I bet you have said right now: "Ha-ha! The guys are reinventing the wheel and are not aware of Google Alerts". Well, we are aware of Google Alerts. And it is almost the thing we need but not quite :-). We have been using Google Alerts for more than half a year and did not manage to get what we needed. And here is what we need:
