Resurrected can allow players modify their sound channels

"Diablo is primarily a game about the ability to pick up and hold objects as well as clicking continuously," design and UX accessibility manager Drew McCrory explained. "We are aware that long-term holds as well as repetitive actions can be a major obstacle for some players. That's why we've introduced quality of life features to help mitigate the fatigue triggered by many kinds of actions. We've also added many controllers to continually start when the button is held for players who can't tap their buttons in a hurry."

Diablo: Resurrected audio options

On the audio front Diablo: Resurrected can allow players modify their sound channels and cut out sounds that aren't essential to them. Sliders for voice and UI cues as well as footsteps, monster hit impacts, sound effects from weapons, ambient objects Combat gore, and more can be adjusted. Blizzard confirmed that further optional accessibility features are in the works in advance of the game's forthcoming launch. Diablo: Resurrected preorders for PC, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4. and PS5 are live and offer access to an early-access beta on all platforms, except for Switch.

Other changes coming to the original RPG are numerous and are minor in their nature, but Blizzard has made clear the need to keep the gameplay of the original Diablo intact as it adds several improvements in the game. There's the added feature of Diablo 4 to look forward to, however Blizzard announced that it won't be coming in 2021 and isn't yet revealing a launch date for it.
