Monitoring company presented data on the users’ activities on Google+
Less than a month has passed since the opening of the social networking service from Google to the public. This time the company worked differently than in the case of Google Wave, and everybody had an opportunity to join a new social networking service sooner or later. The traffic of users on Google+ exceeded the limit after the introduction of free registration, but presently the traffic has fallen by 60%, so experts of the company Chitika say.
The monitoring company has conducted the measuring of Google+ traffic before the introduction of a free registration. According to analysts immediately after the company made the announcement of free registration the traffic on Google+ grew by 1200% last month, which almost caused the problems on the website. But the developers of the corporation responded quickly and nothing bad happened.
It seems that not too many users who have registered in the new networking service remain there as active users. Many just register, because they are curious, and then forget about the registration. Analysts believe that there are several reasons. One of them is that Google+ does not offer any special features, which other networking services provide and if Google have them, then the competitors start introducing them quickly, and users do not see the point to remain in the Google+.
But in any case, it still has not passed a lot of time since the opening of a new social networking service in order to talk about success or the failure of Google. Users have been continuing to register with the service, and in any case the traffic is higher on a social networking service, than in any month of this summer, because the free registration continues to attract the new users.
